The client needed to develop a new product characterized by particularly complex design geometries for plastic injection molding applications. At Vplast, we provided support in the design of the dedicated molds, ensuring compliance with the structural and design requirements requested by the client.
Our contribution also extended to the study of the raw material. As this was a new material on the market and originally developed for different applications, there was no reference history available. We therefore invested in research and development activities to identify the most suitable parameters to be applied both during the design phase and the production phase.
