In the last seven years, with the same press usage, we have reduced energy consumption by 35%, from 1,358,000 kWh to 858,000 kWh, thanks to targeted investments.

Concrete actions to reduce impact

This result is not a coincidence. It is the result of precise choices.

More than 50% of our presses have switched from hydraulic to electric, with better performance and lower consumption.

We have upgraded our compressors and refrigerators.

All our workshops now use efficient lighting.

For years, we have encouraged and educated the Vplast team to follow the guidelines for selective waste collection, not only in the offices but also in the production department.

Through constant innovations in production processes and responsible use of resources, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact every day. We have obtained the ISCC Plus certification, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability at the international level.

Our journey towards sustainability doesn’t stop here. In the coming years, we have new projects to continue improving:

REFLECTIVE COATING FOR THE WORKSHOP

We are applying a paint that reflects UV rays, improving thermal insulation and reducing energy consumption related to heating and cooling.

FLOWERING HEDGE AROUND THE COMPANY

An initiative that will improve air quality, support biodiversity, and help combat pollution.

CO2 EMISSION ANALYSIS

We will evaluate the impact of our activities, from employee commuting to company transportation, to find new solutions for reducing emissions.

The future is waiting for us: between renewable energy and advanced technology

The next step is the installation of a photovoltaic system to cover most of our energy needs with renewable sources. And we don’t stop there: we will complete the upgrade of our machinery, replacing the latest hydraulic presses with electric ones, continuing to reduce consumption and improve efficiency.
