Vplast has long used the holiday season to support and assist projects operating in various local sectors, including social services, research, hospitality, and inclusion. This year, co-owners Alessandro and Davide chose “Il PomoDoro APS” in Bolzano Vicentino (VI) to create the solidarity baskets for their employees.
"Il PomoDoro" is an association established to promote the social and employment inclusion of individuals with disabilities. Through involvement in real agricultural work, the farm helps individuals with disabilities adopt a more adult approach to social and, when possible, work realities. In the active environment of the farm, each person can learn a task that, over time, can lead to taking on a role; recognition of this role, even if small, helps growth, stimulates self-esteem, and fosters a sense of belonging to the group, teaching coexistence and sharing.
These may seem like small gestures, but they hold great symbolic value in wishing Happy Holidays to those in greater need and in committing every day to give our best.
