Until recently, maintenance management was handled using paper records, manual notes, or separate schedules. This posed the risk of forgetfulness, untimely interventions, poor traceability, and limited visibility into the actual status of systems.
Today, thanks to Phase's integrated maintenance module, we can:
- Precisely plan routine maintenance on presses, robots, molds, and other equipment
- Record and track extraordinary maintenance, quickly identifying causes and solutions
- Receive automatic notifications for scheduled maintenance or technical deadlines
- Evaluate the costs and frequency of maintenance interventions to make decisions based on real data
One of the main advantages of this system is the integration between maintenance, inventory, and production. For example:
- When a technician reports a fault, they can see in real time whether the spare part is available in stock
- Interventions are planned in coordination with scheduled production downtime
- The quality management system, already computerized, can systematically report any anomalies requiring maintenance investigation
