Computerized maintenance

We continue our journey toward digitalizing business processes, with a specific goal: to make every phase of work more efficient, traceable, and integrated.

After introducing computerized quality assurance and optimizing warehouse management through the WMS (Warehouse Management System) integrated into San Marco Informatica's JGalileo management software, we are now taking another important step: computerized maintenance of systems and equipment.

Until recently, maintenance management was handled using paper records, manual notes, or separate schedules. This posed the risk of forgetfulness, untimely interventions, poor traceability, and limited visibility into the actual status of systems.

Today, thanks to Phase's integrated maintenance module, we can:

  • Precisely plan routine maintenance on presses, robots, molds, and other equipment
  • Record and track extraordinary maintenance, quickly identifying causes and solutions
  • Receive automatic notifications for scheduled maintenance or technical deadlines
  • Evaluate the costs and frequency of maintenance interventions to make decisions based on real data

One of the main advantages of this system is the integration between maintenance, inventory, and production. For example:

  • When a technician reports a fault, they can see in real time whether the spare part is available in stock
  • Interventions are planned in coordination with scheduled production downtime
  • The quality management system, already computerized, can systematically report any anomalies requiring maintenance investigation

This integrated approach reduces downtime, avoids bouncing between departments, and ensures greater production continuity.

The goal is not just to computerize, but to evolve towards increasingly predictive maintenance: by analyzing historical data, failure rates, and equipment signals, we can intervene before problems occur, reducing costs and improving overall productivity.

Quality, inventory, and now even maintenance: every area of the company is becoming part of an integrated digital ecosystem, designed to support daily work with practical, accessible, and reliable tools.
